USB Sync Charger??
Hi all,

I was wondering....what do you guys think of the USB travel Sync charger like the one on MobileDriven.com? I just ordered one about a week ago and thought it would reduce the clutter that I had around my desktop. It did...and I like it a lot...but for some reason I'm having some weird issues...I don't know if its because of the cable or my battery.. I got a Mugen 1100 mah battery from aximcases and I thought my battery would last longer than the stock one....however, for some reason...the battery is going down faster...I use Battery Pack Pro...and it tells me that I only have about 2 hours and 37 mins on a full charge on this mugen battery...whereas on my first battery i had about 3 hours and 30 mins on a full charge.

Another thing is, sometimes the charge level just drops about 30 percent in a matter of about 15 minutes (from 80% to 50%)....i don't know what is wrong.. The thing is, it charges right back up to 100 in about 10 minutes.....weird...

Is is because I'm using that new usb sync charger? or maybe because the mugen battery is still new and needs a couple more charges to hold its charge more effectively? Oh, btw...when they say that you need to charge/discharge about 5 times before the battery can go to full capacity....does that mean you have to discharge it fully? like run it until its out? I heard thats bad...?

I know some of these questions are stupid...but I'd appreciate any help

i have a mugen 2000 and i have noticed a big dropped in the power meter,

at the start of a new charge, but after that the battery levels seems to go down slower...

it could simply be that the battery monitor only updates the stats

of the battery, like every 15-30 minutes.

just a thought...

imho i dont think your usb cable is at fault here
