Looking for a single earbud for Axim
Where would I look for such a product? I want it to plug into the headphone jack on my Axim. I don't want to use a stereo-to-mono adapter.

Thanks

One of the mobile phone vendors should have one -- and it will also come with a built-in microphone!

Or try Tandy or Dick Smith Electronics or Jaycar, if you're in Australia.

Thanks, but if it has a microphone (which I don't need) won't the 3.5mm jack have 4 conductors instead of the regular stereo 3 conductors? It may not connect properly.

I'm not sure in all cases. I just pulled an old Nokia 8210 hands-free earphone out of the bottom drawer of my desk (some amazing old stuff in there!), stuck it in my Axim and it worked fine.

Sounded crap, though...

EDIT: I should have said, I listened to an Ogg file and got both channels of sound, in mono of course.

Would a mono 3.5mm jack (2 conductors) work in the Axim?

Don't cell phones have 2.5mm jacks instead of the Axim's 3.5mm jack? Did it really fit snug?

Thanks
