newbie with questions
hello, i am new here. i just purchased a refurbished x3i and have a few questions.

1) i am thinking about getting a longer life battery for my axim and was wanting to know if i would still be able to use my rhino case with the different battery?

2) i have a friend that has upgraded to a new axim and is willing to sell me his cradle but it is for the x5. will it work with my x3?

thank you for any help. i think i am going to find this site very helpful.

Welcome to aximsite,

1) If the battery is thicker and it will be, your case won't fit anymore.

2) I am not sure on this one but my guess is no as you can find cradle on the Internet from the same vendor for the two separate devices. None of the vendor state that the cradle fits both devices.

You will need a modifies case to hold a extended battery. Extended batteries are worth it, belive me. No I would not plug a X50 base into A X30 unit. Get the proper base because your going to need it anyways.

my x30 with the Mugen Power 1100maH extended battery in it can fit in my brothers rhinoskin x3i/x3/x30 case. it just fits tightly, and it's harder to slide in and out. though, a battery any bigger wouldn't fit.
