Is this a good idea to buy wireless Bluetooth headphones for my Axim X30 High just so that it's way more convenient and, let's face it - cool!, to listen to MP3s without any wires dangling all over?
Are there any incompatibilty or crappy sound issues?

You need to update the bluetooth stack to use headphones (the one built into the X30's rom doesn't have the profile to support headphones). Do a forum search to get links.

Of course if the headphones come with a bluetooth dongle that plugs into 3.5mm jack, you don't need to update the stack.
