1, 2, 4, 8gig SD card
What is the Max a Axim X30 can use?
Did it change with the new Rom Update?
I have a 512 atm but want a bigger one since I use my Axim for Music and watch Anime videos a lot.
Thanks for any info!

Not exactly sure, but the largest SD card you can buy at the moment is 2gig, which works fine, so that would be the one to get.

2GB is the biggest I've heard of and the biggest size I have heard of working in an Axim.

Until the 2gb cards came out, Dell techs were telling everyone that the largest card the Axim could possibly handle was 1gb. They turned out to be wrong.

However, if the Axims are using a 16 bit file system like FAT and not a 32 bit system like FAT32, then the theoretical limit supposedly is 2.1 gigs for a straight file system (I'm probably wrong, but I think it's 16^8/2). But likely as not, there's software that could be integrated into a flash card that could mitigate that problem.

I'd put my money on 4 gig cards working if and when they come out, and I'd also put my money on them being delayed as they try to design them to work with 16 bit file systems.

My best guess would be 8Gb.
