i need "dell axim x3i companion install CD".i lost my original one but don't have back up Cd.if anyone have it or have a idea where can i buy it ,please let me know.(no matter original or Copy).i'm in USA

I think all you need is a copy of active sync which is a free download from microsoft.. and a copy of outlook (which you can't download but may have as part of microsoft office)

i tried to load ( active sync v3.8) from Microsoft website but said 'need TCP/IP install on your PC" i don't know what is this??

i had the same problem it is wondering if you have internet on lan so go and play with active sync's settings on tc/ip

are you using windows xp, which should contain all the drivers you need to active sync.

yes, i'm using windows XP home edition.
i got "dell install CD for axim x5 series" on ebay site
can i use this CD for my "dell axim X3i"?
