x30 = amazing, putting screen protector = bloody *****
I'm down like 5 screen protectors before i finally settled on a setup... and even this setup isn't that great. Theres still this dust particle down at the bottom of the screen. The first few times i got finger prints on *toss*, next few times i got dust/airbubbles *toss* (yes i use that card they give you to squeeze the bubbles). Its just that everytime i take out a protector, at least 1 f'n dust must get settled on it.

Anyone else having these problems?

What brand are you using? If you got ones from Dell then you would have been better spending your money elsewhere.

I recomend Brando brand. Just google for them. They last forever and if you accidently get fingerprints or dust on them when applying you can run them under very hot water to clean them off before trying again.

Still haven't used screen protectors. My Axim's fine. I'm preaching but screen protectors just aren't worth it.

I used to fight with screen protectors to get them on right, and then when I finally got one on, I didn't take it off until it was completely worn through, because it was such a pain to worry about.

Finally, I got fed up with them and took them off and threw them away. I keep my X30 in a case from now on (I used to carry it 'naked' in my pocket, which could scratch the screen) and I've never had an issue with the screen. I just blow a bit to get any lint off the screen and I go to work. It's better without the protector I believe. It all depends on your lifestyle, I suppose. But I got fed up with those screen protectors, so I'm just playing it safe with a case. Also, when I pull my stylus out, I kind rub the tip on my shirt a few times, like in little circles. It does two things that way. It gets any dust specs off the stylus point, and it also kind buffers the point overtime, which helps the stylus-screen contact issues. I've done this for a while, and never had a scratch on my screen yet. Hope this helps...

I use WriteShield and never have a problem, plus I only have to change about once a year.
