I bought that same combo deal several monthes ago.Great deal,great case and the battery last twice as long as the original.I don't know how you can go wrong at that price.They also give a discount for Aximsite members,see the front page.Very satisfied.

i have the same setup and it's great two drawbacks :
One little flow is there is only one hinge and it makes the top a little loser than if it had 2 i think , the top sometimes would misalign with the botton at the top left part (above the headphone hole).

The other is that bookstyle cover makes it a bit more to hold the axim in my opinon.

But even with that i don't regret the pack and would buy it again if i had to ! i feel secure with the axim in the alu case , not fearing to carry it around on my pants pockets or in my backpack.
And the 1800 battery is wonderfull when you use wifi a lot or watch videos

I've got that combo too. The double length battery is awesome, it's nice to only have to change my PPC half as much as when using regular battery. It also comes in very handy if you plan to use WiFi for an extended period (regular batteries run out quickly when you do this).

The case holds the axim securely in most cases, but sometimes you have to be careful closing it or the top left corner will not close properly. In addition, with the belt clip the case stick out pretty far from your hip. I've had it get caught at least a few times & luckily the X30 has not fallen out yet.

The price for the combo really is very good, especially w/ aximsite discount. Just realize that at this price there are better quality cases around (but IMO still far to few case options for extended battery).

for like 5 more bucks you can get the model that holds 2 sd cards, comes in handy if you have a couple like me
