Extended Battery and Today Screen
Hi all,

I just bought an extended battery, fully charged it and put it in my Axim.

The question I have is why does the battery indicator on the today screen still say 3:00 of battery life left. That is the same as I was getting with my original battery.

Will the timer adjust itself as the battery drains?

In the Battery Panel Option it has 2 settings, estimated battery lifetime with 168 as the setting and fixed battery lifetime with 201 as the setting. Do I need to change these settings when I have the extended battery in?

What battery monitor are you using? It may be using historical information to determine how much use you will get out of the battery. Since you have not have an extended battery prior, the results could be skewed.

Is there an option in the program to delete past information and start fresh?

I'm using spb pocket plus 3.0.

The indicator now reads 3:36 @ 70%, so obviously, it's adjusting itself. I don't see any clear history settings in the battery panel.

I have the same problem, I ordered a extended battery but it seems according to the default battery-monitor that's included in windows Mobile 2003 that its draining in at the same speed as my original battery that I got with my x30 then I bought it last week.
