keyboard that plugs into wall?
I've finally decided to buy my X30H an external keyboard -- can anyone tell me the pros and cons of buying Dell vs. one on eBay? Say: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...DME:B:AAQ:US:1 This is a wireless IR PDA keyboard designed to work with the Axim x30. What i was hoping for was one that along with running on batteries, I could have the option also of plugging the keyboard into an electric outlet in order to save on batteries. I'm still double checking that but does anyone know if that is out there? I thought i'd read about that in a post a few months ago but so far my searches into the archives aren't retrieving said post.

Anything else I should bear in mind when buying a keyboard?
thanks

I've used an IR keyboard with my Toshiba e755 and I was really unimpressed. With IR keyboards, alignment is everything and unless you are on a stable platform, I wouldn't even bother. As for battery endurance, one battery (AAA if I remember correctly) can last you months, so plugging into a wall socket to save on batteries kind of defeats the portability factor. The plus side is that they keyboard with drivers makes it more universal from PDA to PDA.

I actually prefer keyboards that will connect directly to the keyboard. Then there is a good connection and no batteries to worry about (other than the PDA's).

Hope this helps. Good luck!
