New extended battery doesn't fit!
I just purchased a extended battery off ebay - brand new. I rip open the package only to find out that the damn thing doesnt fit in my axim x30 high! It seems to be slightly too big. Trying to force it in has already caused me to to break the middle pin on the battery, and I've been at it for a couple of hours now. Seriously wtf?

Big like width and length? Or big like depth? If it fits in the slot but sticks out (too thick/deep), it's designed for an extended battery cover. If not, you got jipped, and I'd ask for a refund.

Yeah, I'll sure be happy with a 6$ refund after I spent 10$ for shipping.

BTW, its too big lenghtwise. If I break off the hooks on the side it would probably fit. (but obviously it wouldn't hold)

Yeah me too, I've always been a little weary about an extended battery. Not because of the usefulness, but because of the size of it. I don't think I could stand having something stick out like that every second.

I have the exact same battery. It fits my Axim x30 624mhz perfectly. The run time appears to be alot longer than my 950mah battery too

maybe i should make a seperate thread for this so everybody knows (and i really hope i'm not the first to figure it out)....

but if it won't clip down, grab a nail file, preferably a long one, and sand the plastic part that sticks out and touches the back of the axim. the part where the retaining clips are... they're not cut exactly straight because of a cheap design, but for 10 bucks who cares. when you're sanding it, do it very little, because its probably not much that is holding it back. if it doesn't fit, try again. it should snap right in eventually.

if you're snapping the clips off and taping it down, i'd consider you fairly stupid at this point. its nothing personal, but this is a super easy fix. took me like 5 minutes to figure it out.
