Cases for Extended Batteries
If I get a case that holds my x30h with an extended battery, how well will it hold the x30 when I have just a regular battery? I am looking at a Piel Frama case.

Can the same case be used for both regular and extended batteries?

The Belagio (leather) case will fit the x30 with an extended battery. It will be a snug fit and bulge out a little, but it does fit.

Darnit! Why don't they make these (hardcases for the X30h) that fit an extended battery AND 2 SD cards (instead of one)?!?!?

Well you could use a bit of blu tack to stick the extra card in, or just take 1 extra card on your travels, or make ypourself some extra pouches as one user on here did with his PDair case.

Blue Tack might be a viable option, but I'm still curious why you can find the regular hard cases (not extended batt) with 2 SD slots, but not extended cases. Weird.

Thanks for the link, but alas, as I said....it does have two SD slots but it doesn't allow for extended battery. Siiigh. I can't find this combo (Extended batt + 2SD slots) for an X30h ANYWHERE!

Piel Frama has a leather case for the X3/X3i + Hi-Battery (which works with the X30h). Here...

- Snap closure.
- Sync through travel cable.
- Rotable and completely removable belt clip (the knob is also removable).
- 2 MMC Slots.
- 3 Credit Card Slots.
- 1 Money Pocket.
- Soft Leather Lining.
- ABS inserted protection.

It will hold it, as long as you don't put it upside down and shake it

I have the Piel Frama case
I have the Piel Frama case that fits the Hi battery (I have the mugen) and with the regular batter it still fits w/o problems but it the back of the case will feel looser because of the excess leather. However, the case remains on the pda OK just because of the way the pda slips in. I know it's confusing -- the point is that the case fits the Hi battery because the back of the case is longer, ie, it's not a molded fit to the battery, there's just more case.
