My Axim30 standard battery is starting to die and I was thinking about upgrading to the extended life 1700 mAh battery. I use my Axim at work in a fairly rough environment so it has to stay in it's rhino-skin hard case. I noticed the new battery looks like it sticks out the back of the PDA case a bit. Does anyone know if my Axim will still fit in it's hard case with the extended life battery installed?

check with the manufacturer about the case model and if it supports extended batteries.

as far as i know the rhino aluminum cases are not made for extended batteries (1700 mAh).
The only aluminum case that will fit with the 1700mAh is the PDA Armor aluminum extended battery case.

if it`s a standard hard case it probably won`t fit (unless you get your metal working tools out)
