USB Sync/Recharge retractable cable
I'm shopping around for one of those retractable cables. I've found a good deal at www.Boxwave.com but even a better deal at www.eastmaze.com. (maybe too good)

I haven't read much about eastmaze. Any experiences out there?

Never heard of eastmaze, but I have purchased from many different sights and have not been burned, yet. The sage thing it to use a credit card, not a debit card, so you can challenge the charge it there are any problems.

Think I'd go for the Boxwave, as it has more info on the product on their page, and I've dealt with them before (successfully). I've failed to get my Axim to sync via BT with my Win XP SP2 computer at work, so I'll probably have to go the cable route.

Wow, that's a good price!! Too bad there's not one for the X50v

I'd get it from there. from what I've read, Boxwave doesn't work all that great anyways. Well, charging and syncing. Why pay 3x as much for something that isn't perfect either? Go for it!

I ended up ordering the Zip-Linq from Semsons (as I had a 10% discount from gpspassion.com). I'll report back here once I've tried it out.

Alrighty then, got the Zip-Linq cable for my X30 and it worked like a charm for charging and syncing. Two minor gripes: you have to extend both sides of the cable together or one side gets tangled in the spool, and the "Up" label on the X30 connector was on the wrong side. Neither affect its functionality.

FYI, another retractable sync cable choice for the X30 is the Seidio model. For $12.95, it is a good deal.

Anyone noticed how it takes ages to charge off USB if the X30 is on? If i turn the X30 off, and connect it, its charges really quickly!
