Socket 56K SD modem.Will it work?

I've had my eyes on the Socket Communications 56K Secure Digital Modem.It says it is compatible with the X50.Does it work with the X30?It has a SD slot.Any X30 owner with this modem and a success story?(It costs a lot.I wouldn't even consider it unless it works :) )If not,why won't it work?
