How to record voice?

Hi all,
I am at work and don't have my manual with me. How do I record voice on the Dell X-30?

Thanks,

Kevin

If you have your default settings hold down the left most button(on the left side of the calendar one) then speek into ur pda all u want, let go of the button when finished, if u want to record a longer piece press the button once, then your presented with the notes record screen, pretty self-explanatory from there on :)

try changing the notes settings to a higher setting and changing the microphone gain in Start Menu>Settings>Microphone in addition, hold the axim about 6-18 inches away, do not speak into it from like 1 inch away!

really hmmm puzzling, sorry about long wait, was in shower, hmmmm have u tried various gains, usually its abit of guess work to get the correct one, having said that the microphone is not that high quality, However in somewhere in input options in settings there is an option to change the recording quality, maybe this might help ?
