add/remove annoyance

So I built a computer and when I hooked up my X30 everything works ok, but when activesync comes on, the add/remove programs box shows up every time, it doesnt matter what I do, it still pops up. also, all of the programs on the list are checked and greyed out and I dont know what this means. does anybody know ho to get rid of this annoying problem without doing a hard reset and re-installing the dozens of programs that are on the list?

The items appear grayed-out because they were installed from a different desktop. The only way to get around this is to uninstall the applications from the device and then re-install from the new desktop.

The reason that the Add/Remove dialog pops up is because there is a program that did not complete the install on the device. This typically happens if you run the setup with the device connected.
