ok i just did a search...this guy name akeron just copy and paste step by step instruction...in this post.

http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...ht=pie+version

"Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\
Change the default value from "Mozilla/2.0" to "Mozilla/4.0".
Change the "Version" value from "MSIE 3.02" to "MSIE 5.5".
Change the "Platform" value from "Windows CE" to "Windows NT 5.0".
Some web sites may even just compare the user agent string, so if this is not enough, browse to the Post Platform\ sub key and delete the "240x320" value (it have no data)."

in that post..it only shows how to change to pie version 5.5...but how to you change to 6.0? In my pda...it has following settings...

version: "MSIE 4.01"
Platform: "Windows CE"
Default: "Mozilla/4.0"

So what version of pie do i have above? And if anyone here can let me know what should i change to those settings above so my pie can acts like version 6.0? Also if i change to version 6.0...will there be any repercussion? will changing this version make my pie not work properly or affect other things? Thanks in advance.

You can always backup you stuff and do a hard reset to correct the error.

@vincentnyc,

Windows NT 5.0 = Windows 2000
Windows NT 5.1 = Windows XP

MSIE 5.5 = IE 5.5
MSIE 6.0 = IE 6.0

thx bengine...i change msie 4.0 to 6.0...now it is working great...i didnt change "window ce" to "windows nt 5.0 or nt 5.1" cuz some website is design for a pocket pc so it shrinks or fits it page to my pda. if i use windows nt 5.0...i will look like my pc which i dont want on my pc..cuz it got a small screen.

The only drawback to the PIE version change is that any website that you go to that is "sized" for a PPC (like Aximsite) will always appear as the regular PC size version.

This is one of the best posts I've ever seen. I did the hacks and they work great! I can even access the web site of my bank that before I was unable to surf...
