Hello, I have an x30 which just had its warranty expire, so unfortunately Dell is no help. I tried to search this problem in case it was asked before but I couldn't find anything.
My problem is that it is stuck on the reset screen "To clear all data in the memory, press []. To cancel this operation, press |\/|"
The real problem is that none of the buttons work because apparently they were "unassigned" before this crash/battery discharge, and unfortunately I did not reprogram them. So no amount of pressing any buttons work, and it remains stuck on this screen.
So is there anything I can do or should I bury it?
Tried that. The only button that works is the power button and the reset button in the back, so I can also perform a hard reset. It's just that once the hard reset is done it goes to either "A memory error has occurred" or the previous screen "To clear all data in the memory..." Most of the time (probably >90%), this is the screen that appears. And then it's stuck as I said before.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
