Send/receive and other options is grayed out

Hi guys,

This is my first post, and i've seen over the last few weeks, that you are all very helpful on this site. I've been reading through the posts, and cant find any solution to my problem.

I configure the X30 to work with Nokia 6230's and 6021's, so i have a little bit of a working knowledge.

I'm currently trying to solve a problem for one of my users remotely so i can only give limited information on the problem. However, i'm hopeful someone may have a solution.

The PDA in question is having problems accessing a lot of the menu's in Outlook. the send/receive button is grayed out (the user is in the inbox folder of the specified email account).

The reported problem is something along the lines of:

On deleting messages from outlook, and selecting Tools/Empty Deleted Items/ outlook express seems to grey out all options sets including send/receive, accounts... etc... leaving only Tools and New selections available.

Where outlook would normally print status messages, e.g connecting... logging on... etc, the was initially the Msg - "Saved to Drafts", and now this has changed to "Finding Pending Actions"

This problem seems bizarre to me, as you cannot even select to alter the account settings options...

Any help what so ever would be much appreciated, as Im at a dead end!!

Thanks in advance
