razr v3c + x30h + DUN = great internet

After spending much time in trying to get it to work, I finally found out that a flash to Alltell firmware will let my razr connect happily with my axim and let me go online (of course the #777 connection while dial up via your own ISP will work out of the box).

Now I just need SPP to be enabled on the razr so I can dial a contact from my axim, and the razr will be in my pocket forever.

Sorry I only managed to get it to work the first time, after updating my PRL by *228 it has stopped working since then. And 'till now I couldnt figured out what happened. There are others like me who could'nt get it to work over at Howardforums. So if you wanna check out more info on this head over to that website...

Oh, and regarding your isp, it will work just fine w/o any tweeking to the phone, just dial ur isp # and input your username and pwd. Remember your phone and axim have to be paired up thou.

I have them paired and am able to do everything but dial up my isp. it does dial but i can hear the "were sorry your call cannot be completed" recording on the phone, i have dried all kinds of dialing options - 7 digit, 10 digit etc.. but no luck. if i dail the phone number manually, I can hear a modem on the other end. wierd

have you tried dial just a regular # to see if it's a voice call or a data call? maybe your phone see it as a voice call when it dials up ur isp... weird thing is, I cannot do a voice call when dialing from the axim, and so far no one has been able to do that.
