Clock is missing, no installed software

Today I was checking my axim x30 (mid) for the time and the clock was missing! I did searches and all i found was that some people installed some software and that messed up the clock. But I havn't installed anything in 6 months. I havn't even synched it in a few weeks. Does anyone know how to get the clock back?

I did all the checks in settings and I soft resetted about 15 times.

Thanks.

What do you mean "some people installed some software"? Who had access to your pda? Worst case scenario do a hard reset and reinstall everything.

I did a bunch of searches, and almost everyone that had this problem had installed something called "Scumm." No one had access to my pda except myself, and I havn't installed anything lately.

I'm pretty sure this is some OS quirk to windows 2003 SE. Anyone else having this trouble and know a solution?

Thanks.

It is possible that the registry entry for the clock got corrupted. If you have Tweak2k2 installed go into system hacks and I think in collection 2 you will see a lot of hacks for the clock. Try some of these and see if it makes your clock reappear. Here you can go from showing nothing to showing date and time.

Thanks Ken. I downloaded a different registry editor and added some values. My clock came back! And now I also have the date right under the clock. Saved my the trouble of having to do a hard reset and reinstall everything

Ah, a hands-on kind of guy. If you were comfortable with that hack you might like some of these.

Lol I read all of those last night

Now all I need to do is figure out a way to make the scroll wheel actually scroll instead of just jumping links.
