external harddrive?

I've got a usb hard drive, any way to make my x30 read it? Without it being hooked to a regular PC. Any cables available? Would a cable like this( http://cgi.ebay.com/For-Dell-Axim-X3...QQcmdZViewItem ) work

for usb hard drives to work you need usb host capabilities.

axims are only USB clients.

i have not heard of any but wouldnt it be easier to just use a laptop to browse an ext HDD? browsing hundreds of files over resco file explorer isnt the best.

if the ext hdd is already plugged into another computer you can share the ext HDD on the host computer. then if there is a router hosting the ext hdd computer and your x30 via wifi you can map the network drive using resco file explorer and stream all files over wireless

Has anybody tried any of the Wifi routers with a USB HD connection, dont now how expensive those are and they are probably slow with wifi B and maybe awkward portability wise but may work. I would also think there would be bluetooth options
