yes they can, although you can only have one device connected at once. i do this with my X5 and X51V.

I love my X30 and would like to buy a X51v for my wife, I'd like to be able to sync to the same database so we don't duplicate the efforts.

My X30 is currently syncing at two PCs now, not the same one that I'd like to sync with my wife's X51v, does that mean I have to disconnect from one of my existing sync PC? Please advise. THank you.

just plug the second Axim into the pc and create a new partnership in exactly the same way you configured the first one. there is nothing extra to do at all.

i never tried it on Activesync prior to 4.x, so i take it that it wont work Gigi?

You need AS4.x because X51 won't sync with older versions.

Thanks for the responses, but my current X30 uses Active Sync 3.8, will Active Sync 4 work with my X30 with Windows Mobile 2003 2nd edition? Thanks.

Yes (but you'll lose the ability to WiFi sync).
