Rollback to PPC2003 from SE

We tested a pt reporting software using PPC2003 on a X3 with zero problems. When it came time to order we bought X30 with PPC2003SE. The program runs ok 80% of the time however it loses data during the write to the SD Card. Is it possible to rollback to the earlier version of 2003 or are we hosed??? We have tried different SD cards, including those recommended by Dell. We have the programmer working on the problem but haven't had any luck so far. Any suggestions?

X30 series only came with WM2003SE, while the X3 series only came with WM2003 (no SE).
I've never heard of someone using the other OS on the PPC it was not made for, but then again I haven't looked for it. If anything, I would see what version ROM you have and see if upgrading or downgrading that helps out.

If you are right, I guess I just learned something new today. My mistake.
