Aximsitex3icon Question regarding Dell CD included with axim

I posted earlier that I lost my Dell cd... bummer cause it had outlook on it and I had to reformat my hard drive and lost everything... Its all better now, I partitioned it and have apps on one drive and windows on another....anyway, I am looking to pick up a dell cd from a friend because he doesnt use it. The only difference is that his cd is for his x50v, and I have an x30 high. Am I going to run into any problems? Also, will outlook load correctly, I dont think he has loaded it at all on his pc, but if he did, am I looking at running into any registration problems? Also, if I called dell and gave them my product key # and all that jazz, would they send me another cd..hopefully at minimal cost? (Based upon my dell experiences, they would give me a run around for at least 3 reps, then maybe help me out. I was hoping someone on here would just know right away....)

Any help would be great!!

Thanks in advance

P-Jack, this is what I would have to say.

I don't think you have anything to worry about with Outlook installing.

You may have some issue installing programs from the CD, I have tried doing some things with an x50v disk on an x30 and ran into just a few issues with programs designed specifically for the x50v (because of the VGA part).

About calling Dell, give them a hard time and hopefully you won't have to go to three reps :) - though I know exactly what you are talking about. Just let them know that you have lost the disk and need a new one, they'll send you one.
