2GB SD-Card in X3i?

Does anyone know if an X3i can handle SD cards bigger than 1 GB? I read that the X30 can, but no mention of the X3 anywhere...

I know the X3i can handle 2 GB -- I have heard mixed reaction on the 4 GB. From what I've read, as long as you format it to FAT32 you can get even more than 4 GB out of the card.
