Question Does this even exist?

I'd really like to get a simple direct cord for recharging Axim's battery right from the standart wall plug (so I could recharge it anywhere there is a simple plug!). Does such a cord exist? To simply connect one end into Axim X30 on the bottom (where it's connected when sitting in the cradle) and the other - into the standard wall plug.

If such a thing exists - what is it called? And where could I buy it?
Thanks so much!

Some are called travel chargers; another name is wall charger. Ebay offers many of different types of these for your Dell. Hope this helps.

Yes, many sites sell them. Here is one on overstock auctions for $3. I dont know if that is a bid or buy it now price, but many places sell these including dell.

You can also just use the AC adapter that plugs into the back of the cradle, along with the charger adapter.

Yes but the cradle is a bit too bulky to carry with me everywhere in my pocket :)

Yes this does exist

I purchased one a few months ago, and it works great. Before I purchased it, the only way that I could charge my Axim X30 was in the cradle at my home computer. If I was at work, or on a trip, I was up a creek, and did not want to take a chance on losing memory.

I first checked at Dell, but they cost appx. $45. I checked on EBAY, and purchased one for about $6-7. It is a set (the cable has an end that plugs into the Axim X30; the other end of the cable appears to be a USB connection. This plugs into either a charger which fits in a cigarette lighter in my truck, or a plug which plugs into a regular outlet.

I just checked on EBAY (item #9714365157 ) and it is presently selling for $6.99. It is called a SYNC+CAR+WALL CHARGERs for DELL AXIM X3 X3i X30.

I hope it works as well for you as it does for me.
