Change the version of OS of X3 into Japanese version.

Hello,

I have just started to use Dell Axim X3. I knew that it's kind of very old model. I have it for almost 2 years, but I am not really make use of it. I just decided to turn it into my Japanese dictionary. However, I am facing a very serious problem.

"The OS is the English version". I really need to turn it into the Windows Mobile 2003 Japanese version, since I want this PocketPC to be able to recognize the "Kanji" (The Japanese Character).

Therefore, I would like to ask you all how to change my OS into Japanese version. I have no idea about how the PocketPC work at all. I mean, if it were my labtop, I would already format it and re-install new operating system. However, with PocketPC, if I understand correctly, you can't just format them and re-install the OS. The only thing you can do is to wait for the patch and install them, right???

BTW, for your information, I have never patch or do anything with my Dell X3. Just like I have just brought it out of the box.

Hi, you can change the os version follow my instructions to change in the X30 (is the same procedure).

You need to download the rom from Dell and make the job !!!!
