x3i downgrade to a00

Hello

My axim x3i with wifi, does't read any sd card (i've tried 8 diffrent even those from japan which should work)
i upgraded from a01 to a02 rom and installed all patches which was possible from dell's support, i found that orgiginal my axim was a00, and there is my question:
is there any posibilyty to back to a00 rom, i want to try if it will be reading sd cards on this rom.
Please help, because pda without sd is useless.

Bootloader found sd card and tries to load ris from ita, so card slot isn't mechanically damaged.

I mean that if someone have *.ris file with a00 rom backup I will be really gratefull.

I don't think that I would downgrade to A00. I upgraded my Axim 30 to A06 and have considerably less trouble with SD cards. Mine still forgets that it has one every now and again, but unplugging it and plugging it back in with the unit out of standby seems to work.

FYI: My x3i with the A00c rom handles the SD card without any problems.
But I don't know how to downgrade - sorry.

You've got axim x3i with a00c, can download this file http://ftp.us.dell.com/utility/R80976.EXE ?

it is update to a02 but with this update you can do a backup (ris file) of yours a00c without updating.

I know how to update but i need this ris file so Please share yours rom, i'll take you less than 15min

Nope ... sure would like to help you out but my x3i will only connect through wifi due to bended pins - as I told you by PM's

I don't dare to upgrade via wifi because I may lose the contact during the operation.

And I'm not confident with the SD Card reload procedure.

my problem is solved

when my hope died, glorious Zaniax respond with suprise,
He send me his broken x3i to Poland and don't want any cash for it, or for posting, He send me screen protector, 2 batteries and 256mB sd card
He is incredible
