Transfer data to newer X3i

Ok i broke the screen on my X30( cannot see screen). I bought another X30 high. How can I tranfer all the data from the broken X3 to the new one.

I don't know the solution of your problem, sorry -

But maybe this is a starting point:

If you got a folder named
\2577\autorun.exe
in your SD card then this program will excute as soon as you put the card into the axim.

Now which program should be renamed 'autorun.exe' -
some sort of a backup program maybe ?

Can you synch the broken one? If so, then your data will be in your partnership. I have a utility for displaying the PPC sceen on your PC. This utility will let you control the PPC from your desktop. I'd back up the PPC and then sync the new one to that partnership.

I don't remember where I go the remote display utility but try googling it.

I believe zeb was referring to dotpocket? It displays the pda on your desktop/laptop screen while syncing and allows you to use your computer's keyboard/mouse to interact with it. You can get 30 days without paying. It's at http://www.dotpocket.com. You could also try this http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro...s/ppctoys.mspx. The remote display for ppc. Not sure how it works, or if you can manipulate the axim from the desktop. Never tried the microsoft one, but the dotpocket works great.
