Axim vs Cingular 8125

This may be a dumb querstion....I have an Axim X30...I love it and have gotten a lot a use out of it...however, I am tired to lugging it around along with cell phone...I am considering getting a Cingular 8125 Pocket PC ...beyond it being WM5.0, is it as fully functioned (Windows Media Player, games, etc) as an Axim?

Thanks,
Brian

I recently got an 8125 and Love It! It replaced my v50 which I gave to my wife. She was tiered of my belt being full with my Ax, Cell phone and my Keys. I consolidated the electronics and know keep my keys in my pocket. I think the 8125 can do everything that the Ax could do it's just a little slower in my opinion. Take the plunge you wont be dissipointed.

The one thing that made me decide to get an Axim x51 instead of the Cingular 8125 is that alot of people I talked to (in our rural area) said that the Cingular wouldn't pick up weaker signals, while regular cell phones would pick them up. Also, the 8125 won't allow one-button dialing (or even one hand dialing) like a regular cell phone.

i've got 8125 and it replaced my x30. all of the problems above can be pretty much solved with third party apps.

8125 can be flashed to faster ROM, then upgrade radio rom for better signal, overclock it from stock 195 to 260 (still won't be as fast as axim but close) install apps allowing one hand dialing and you're golden. it's fine piece of equipment.

I like it so far...it is slower for sure...I can't play the video clips I had redered for my old Axim 30 to play...may need to make them better quality...question about the battery...for the first time, do I need to run the battery all the way down before charging? The manual said something that a full run down and charge back up the first time is the best...thanks...
