Urgent Help with Restore

My Axim x30 recently appeared to lock up. So i connected it to my latop using Activesync 4.2 and was able to perform a full backup.

After having performed a Hard Reset on the X30 and gone through the intial screens I connected to my latop. Activesync started and I performed a "Guest" Account. Then trying to do a Restore I keep getting the error of a device mismatch.

Am i truly done for or is there something I'm missing.

Any help gratefully recieved.

Have you restored the Regional Settings on the Axim?
