Need Advise buying extended Battery - Dell Axim X3i
I am interested in buying an extended life battery for my Axim X3i. I know the best place to buy is Ebay. and from what I have seen there seems to be a good selection of them. I also have my reservations buying from here, all though I have bought many things on Ebay.

I would really appreciate it if any one could give me any kind of thought and concerns as to what I should look out for when I am buying one of these extended battery.

I don't want to buy one that says it is compatible with the X3 just to find out that my Axim goes in flames after installing it.

Any thought and concerns please.

Aximsite has a discount for cases.com... they're in the deals category of the forum. The 15% discount is a good deal- I would much rather buy something from a dealer than from eBay... I did buy a Mugen battery from them so I know that they're reliable.

They have Mugen and Energy leaf- the choice is yours to make. the 900 and 1100mAh batteries barely protrude from the back but if you get the monstrous 2000mAh/2200 then it really sticks out from the back.

cases.com as some good case+extended battery deals.If you don't have a case and want one this is the way to go.

Just bought an extended battery on ebay and it works just great. Typing for hours at full brightness using a Think Outside BT keyboard and BT mouse with no fear!

I've bought from Lion batteries and the cases.com deal is almost as good as e-bay. Go with the names you can trust.

Bought one on ebay a 2000 mah, cost me less than £10 in total inc p&p and its brilliant lasts for ages without a recharge and I am running a Bluetooth sat nav on it :) I am sure they will post to the US
The ebay user is called patchsemporium just search them on the community tab.
