horizontal lines on my X30 screen

In the last couple of days I noticed the appearance of 2 closely spaced horizontal lines about 1/3 of the way down my screen. The lines run parallel for a short distance, but mostly alone - where one breaks, the one above fills. These lines are not "in the screen", they appear to be "behind the text" and are grey in color, like this except closer together?

In post preview pane, I can't get the parallel lines correctly in the example above, and I had to use dashes, but I think you can get the idea.

Can anyone help?

Yikes...

Trying to understand it better. By behind do you mean it seems to be an unluminated lines of the screen?

appearing almost as background wallpaper. or screen formatting like the lines between date, owner, task categories on the start screen, only different color than the actual format lines and obviously they do not belong there.
