Faster scrolling in WM2003SE?

I asked awhile back about faster scrolling speed across the board (NOT JUST PIE) and the answer I got referred to, I think, WM5...

Here was the reply:
---
Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Buttons
From there go to the "Up/Down Control" Tab and adjust your "Repeat rate"
---

I cannot see these options anywhere in my 'Buttons' option screen -- was he talking only about WM5?
Thanks in advance:)

I see the tab being referenced and the "repeat rate" option there as well.

When you first go into the Buttons screen, the "Program Buttons" tab is active. I have the "Up/Down Control" tab as well, towards the bottom of the screen.

Not sure if it matters, but what ROM version are you running on your x30? I am using A06.

I'm such a moron I forgot I was using VitoButtonmapper, have been since I first got this thing two years ago (hate HATE touching the screen) and while it adds a ton of uptions to the Buttons section (stylus tap emulation being what I love the most) it takes away the Up/Down repeat rate option, for some reason.

All I had to do was uninstall Vito buttonmapper, then set the repeat rate to the max, then reinstall Vito, then presto!! Super-fast scrolling and my mapped stylus taps just the way I like.

Thanks, you forced to realize my stupidity sooner:)

I totally empathize with you and know where you are coming from. I'm glad I could be of some sort of help. :)
