Is this normal battery drainage?

I've had my extended battery (2000mAh) for just over 2 years and have used my Axim pretty regularly for music and note-taking and such. Within the last month or so I've been working in Textmaker for about an hour during the day and I noticed that before I start my hour of word processing I have 70% battery remaining. After an hour I have only 20%!!

Is this normal? Or maybe my battery has reached the end of its life (2 yrs?)?

Any info would be greatly appreciated -- thanks in advance:)

I think your battery has reached the end of it's life. Two years is not real old for a battery, but if you use it regularly, they only get 300-500 charging cycles. Used every day for one year, you might have worn out your battery.

When I purchased my X3I in Feb 04', I paid $99 for a Dell extended battery :(

I'll bet they're around $20 - $30 now . . .
