Hidden appointment problem

I have a repeating appointment that I deleted months ago and it still comes on as a reminder each Thursday 15 minutes before the meeting. It tells me when the appointment is on the Today list but does not show-up on any other calendar view. I am not able to remove this as it does not show on any tasks or calendar entry. I have gone back in my calendar to see when this was originally put in and I can't find anything.
This is not a clock alarm, it is a calendar appointment. I have checked and disabled any clock alarms and still nothing works to remove this.
Has anyone had this problem?

Well I use a X51v with pocket informant and have not seen your model so I'm not sure. This will front page it anyway.

I usually just go into the utilities and delete all whatever. Best of luck.
