How do I connect axim to ethernet port?

Some hotels only have ethernet cables and not wireless.

What is the easiest way to connect my axim to the cable?

Maybe all hotels should just be wireless :):)

Recently I was in Tucson and in a rented condo for a week. I checked ahead to determine my possibilities as I was not into toting my notebook around. I was told that an ethernet was available so I bought an (on sale) G linksys router and took it with me. When I arrived I powered up the router attached the internet and was in business. Hope this helps..

Doesn't Linksys have a portable wireless adapter? I think it plugs into the 10-base-t connection at the hotel and becomes a wireless adapter. Several site members have used it.

I knew I'd find it. It's called a Wireless-G Travel Router. Amazon and other online retailers have it.

I have to agree with the wireless travel router. You can get a CF lan card, but it is pretty expensive and not very fast from what I remember.
The router seems much better for the price.

I would choose the router, its cheaper, and you arent confined to one spot.

IE: You can use it everywhere in ur hotel room.

Search this site and the internet for "pocket" or "travel" router and you should get several flavors that are small, extremely portable and flexible in their configuration. D_Link and Netgear. The travel ones are nice because they have switches that allow you to select whether you are access point, router or wireless or some combination. I have a D-Link and it works just fine.
