Data Backup failure

For my Axim X30, Data Backup 2.1 no longer works. It incorrectly calculates the required backup space at about 4 gigs. The true amount is about 35 megs. Because of this miscalulation, it refuses to start the backup because it says that there is not enough space. Reset does not fix the problem.
