Question enable wifi or bluetooth seperately

I know this may be a dumb question, but is it possible to enable either wifi or bluetooth individually? Sometimes I just want wifi and sometimes I want just bluetooth. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Wulfie

Tap on either icon on the bottom right of the today screen and enable the one you want there.

Edit, sorry didn't notice which forum you were in. Not sure if it is the same with the x3s

There IS a bluetooth icon which I can use to enable/disable bluetooth, but nothing for wifi on my x30 unless I use the wifi button which enables both wif and bluetooth, and then I have to turn bluetooth off if I don't want it. Hoping for an easier solution.

Don't you have the wifi icon as well. 4 bars increasing in size.

I don't have an X30 either but I think the icon should be there (with white bars) even when WiFi is off. Does it show immediately after a soft reset?

In any case, you can also open the Dell WLAN utility through the menu - Start, Settings, Connections (tab).

There is a utility on my site to enable wifi only, map a button to it and if you want bluetooth then use the icon.

This works on X30

I used to use the same setup as above.

Just go to Start, Buttons, select the button that you want to map WirelessPower to and that is it done.

However if you have a package like iLauncher you can then easily place the WirelessPower.exe file as an icon wherever you wish on your today screen

I have used this program amost since I got my X30. I can't imagine life without it!! You install it and then reassign the wireless button to silentknight's program. Then you can turn on Wifi by just hitting a button. To turn on Bluetooth, you use the icon on the screen.
