Dell update causes loss of wifi

I updated my X3 today using the R77987 update from the Dell official site & have now lost WiFi ability ( cant obtain IP ).

Usually, these updates give you the option to revert to a previous version, but this one didnt & just went straight ahead & updated.

Does anyone know if this is a known problem with this update ?

How does one revert to the original version ?

Did the update cause your IP settings to change? IE from static to dynamic IP or the other way around? As far as I can tell that's one of the most common reasons to not get an IP.
