I have been trying to set up my x3 wirelessly for weeks now. How can I do it. I can't even see my router with my wireless sdio card. how can I set it up. I have went through this guide on this site, but mine only has new modem connection, proxy server, and vpn server connections. What do I do. Or Can't I do anything?

Ebay Special

I bought my dell axim X3 on ebay and all it came with is the companion cd that has Outlook and activesync on it and I have the same problem with trying to connect to the internet. It only has the option to add a new modem connection, VPN server connectoin or proxy server. What is the software that you need to connect to the internet via a home wifi connection and how do you tell if you even have a wireless card??

The X3i (which was the only X3 with built in WiFi) has a small bump, the antenna, on the top about 1/4 in high by 3/4 in long (~0.5 X 2 cm). If your Axim does not have this bump, then you will need to buy an sdio WiFi card to make it WiFi capable.
