Dell Axim X30 sending email problem

Good evening,
I have just sorted out wireless internet and email connection to my access point for my Axim X30. So far so good. I can connect to the web and once I had set up mail account details I could log onto and receive email. I can not send it! The error message is that the recipients are invalid. I have confirmed that the outgoing mail server details are correct but still no joy!
Anyone got any clues to end my frustration. Thanks in advance

If your mail is coming from a server by a company other than your ISP...They might be blocking it. As part of a anti-spam thing.

would that not mean that I would also have problems sending from my laptop which has the same account settings?

Well, yes it would.
If you aren't, (I didn't see that in the original post) then the problem is undoubtedly on the PPC. I just don't see how though since youve checked the settings and have verified them as correct.

See FlyACL's post for detailed email settings.

Often, the outgoing mail frequently requires the 'authenticate outgoing mail' box to be checked. I'm pretty sure this is listed in FlyACL's post, but double check. (the exact location of this setting has changed in different Pocket Outlook versions but in the X30, I think it is on the 4th page of the Advanced settings from the third page of the email settings.)
