Hey guys

It seems i made a stupid move when i got the x30 over the older ipaq h4600 ( or 4500)

Compact Flash

Although old, some things i really wanted to attempt require Compact Falsh (Large data sizes, attempting ethernet and USB Host) and the dell axim x30 is a no show

i searched, and did not find ant existing adapters for the dell axim to give it a CF connection

This is over i'm guessing

unless anyone know of a adapter, or like ipaq, a CF slot build into the sleeve,

I am a bit confused by your comments, it seems you are asking whether the Dell Axim (there are numerous kinds) takes a CF card or not, then it seems as if you are just wondering if there happens to be a case with a CF card holding slot).

If you are wondering whether a Dell Axim will take a CF card, I can assure you that the x50 on up do take CF cards (which is really nice for larger memory sizes).

Concerning a case that holds a CF card, I haven't seen on that has a spot like many do for one or two SD cards, but there are smaller planner-type covers that allow enough room inside for a CF card (or more than one) to fit comfortably (and still look nice).

You can get pretty large file sizes with SD cards. Yes, it does take a long time, but it's not so bad. Also you can turn your pda into a usb drive by using Card Export. Yeah, it does stink that the x30 can't take compact flash, but SD is more common today in cameras and laptops.
