Scrolling with X3

When I use the center button to scroll in my contacts, sometimes it will fast scroll (with the large letters) and sometimes it won't. It will always do it when scrolling with the side button. Any suggestions?

This would be easy to show you but tough to explain.

I have about a hundred contacts on my X30.
When I schroll using either the centre button or
the side button, the schroll action seems to be about the same speed.
By chance, maybe, just like it is in Excel.
When there is a lot of data, and you use the mouse to schroll,
the deeper you position the cursor into the spreadsheet, the faster
the schroll action is.
Maybe???
