Aximsitex3icon Is Restoring AximX30 backup to different Axim or pocketpc possible?

I have an Axim x30 300mhz,can I restore all my data to an Axim x30 600mhz for example.
different question:
Is there a way to restore all my installed applications to an HP pocket PC phone?Installing all my favorite applications and games can take a day. This is why I wish it was possible to just restore my backup to anew device.

The answer is no as the windows version are from two different companies and the settings and components are different. Restoring includes usually the OS so you cannot do this from different brands. If you do only data/software backup, the registry will not be updated and the software will not work. Sprite backup allows you to backup and restore from different devices or same device as long as they are from the same brand. I tried at some point to backup my old X50V and restore to my X51V. The device started acting up and in the end I had to reload manually every software and tweeking. Reinstalling everything will give you more stability.

I was using an x30 312MHz mid (bluetooth+wifi) and restored a backup image of it to a x30 624 MHz, which is what I now currently use. You can probably go backwards as well, i.e. 624 MHz Backup restored to a 312 MHz (mid), but I'm not 100% certain this applies to the 312 MHz low (no integrated wireless) as well since I've never owned one of those.

Of course your calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes will sync over to your new PPC, but programs on your PPC will have to be installed. I've tried to do it the easy way, but end up doing like Frenchy said..
