Transcriber is Crazy

Somehow my transcriber has lost its mind. When ever I write just about anything I get the wrong letter. I went through all the letters on the transcriber and that did not help. Any suggestions.

I am a Newbie--Can you Tell?

For writing, I really like CalliGrapher. I find it really works the best, and with some learning, it's very effective, even if you like to scribble :)

If transcriber is playing up,
check that your screen is calibrated properly.
Check that your screen protector is on properly.
Make sure there is no dust or anything stuck under the edge of the screen.
try a soft reset to see if that fixes it.

If Box's good advice doesn't resolve the problem and you're tempted to try Calligrapher, as sylikc suggests, you might appreciate that PhatWare is discounting its software right now by 33%, so you can get a good deal on this handwriting recognition software.

Personally, I would say yank the screen protector as I had issues with it causing my screen to act crazy. Transcriber is good but Calligrapher is Stellar.
Other than the screen protector, follow Box's suggestions before trying anything else.
