Aximsiteactivesyncicon Moving UP to X30 or beyond

At the end of last year I purchased an X3i. This was a step up from my x5 basic, which I owned for over 4 years.

Now I'm wondering what would be the next logical step up. Would it be the x30 or should I set my sights and my savings on the x5x line of Axims.

I would not consider another company since I enjoy the Axim's too much.

I'm not thinking any time soon, but when the time is right.

Although I do confess to checking ebay every so often.

thanks for reading.

If you don't care about having the latest and greatest wm os, then the next logical step seems like it would be the x30. My wife has one and it is running wm 2003se just fine. If you are looking to keep this a few years in the future, just keep in mind less and less is being made for 2003se, 2003se is a dying OS.

I'm not going to go over the hardware specs specifically, but one thing I really like about x50 series is that it has a lot better screen. So if you watch a lot of movies this would be a better choice. If you want to stay up to date so to speak, I would say go for at least an x50v which you can upgrade to wm 6 if you wish. Looking ahead even further into future the only wm 6.1 roms right now seem to be being made for the x51v, and I suspect this trend will continue, though I am waiting to see if anyone is going to make one for the x50v, but if not I'll be ok..that is something to think about I guess..

Hope this helps a little

First of all, thank you for the reply.

I would say, after considering your comments, I should jump to the x50v.

With that said, I'm going to stick with my x3i for a couple of years then, to get the value of it.

I will say, these are great little machines.
