Worried Appointments have gone

I've had my Axim X30 since they came out in the UK and use it as a diary/appointments machine, syncing via Activesync to my PC whenever it charges in the docking cradle.
I have Outlook 2003 and XP SP3 on the PC and WM2003 on the Axim.

I've noticed that as soon as I dismiss an appointment it goes altogether. I can find no reference to it on the Axim. I need to know what I did where last year, or last time, etc - and all that info has gone.
The thing is I don't know for sure when this began happening. I don't search back very often, only when I need to, obviously!
When I noticed this all of my past appointments for this year were present. Now they're not.
I can find no option in the Axim, in Activesync or in Outlook to keep old appointments in the Axim. This year's appointments are still in Outlook.
Am I missing something?

To sync all appointments (past and present) in Activesync on the PC go to Tools > Options... > Calendar (select icon) > Settings (button) and in the drop down list that follows, select ALL.

As for disappearing appointments, make sure that you're not filtering appointments on your ppc.

Thanks for that. Seemed I was only bothering with two weeks' worth of appointments.
